Are GAU-17 7.62mm mini guns on the list for this sheet, ora gun CIWS one?

At this scale it's indistinguishable from the 12.7mm HMG
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error

That's true about lack of space back there. I do notice that they put the laser turret near where the gas turbine generator exhaust is. So I wonder if in this concept they where looking at replacing the gas turbine generator with laser subsystems. I don't know how large the generator is back there though.

Going by (slightly enlarged as with all SB missiles) scale and by appearance, this is the SM-6:Image

No, it is not. It's barely distinguishable from the 12.7mm, but slightly different. The 12.7mm is on the left, the M134 on the right.Image

It's about time someone took on that horrid SPS-49 radar that was used as a substitute for just about any radar back in the bad old days.

And I know just the guy.

I'm excited to see what you come up with. From my point of view, the problem was mostly that SPS-49 was used to represent every other radar in Christendom. The SPS-49 drawing, when used to represent SPS-49, is not too terrible. But I'm still watching with great interest.

Not too terrible?

YES, there's supposed to be two sides to it. On the left side of the frame runs the waveguide that feeds the emitter horn. The small antenna underneath the emitter horn is an IFF antenna, and might not be present on all units.

So, comments?
