SSK HSY-70B was an improvement of previous -70A submarine and originally 6 were built. All early 70A hulls were also upgraded to -70B spec, created the HSY-70A2 type. Electronics were also upgraded, as also diesel engines and a new quieter propeller was fitted. Other changes in propulsion system included a new more efficient electric motors of same power and new batteries from Sunlight with even larger efficiency. Finally, they were fiited with HUSM-2B turbojet underwater to surface missiles with range up to 120km, while original HUSM-2A had 70km and Exocet SM-39 50km. In late 1990's the submarines were fitted with the enhanced HUSM-2C missiles with range up to 160km.

After 3,5 years of construction the new research icebreaker of Hellenic Center of Polar Research launched and passed sea trials successfully. In her speed trials in July 2020 she reached 19,8 kn. The big test will be the trip to Antarctica for 2021 season. Her ice class and capabilities are same with AGB-5003 Shirase.

In Cyprus AU there is a marine branch of Cypriot Police, called Marine Police, with Coast Guard duties, including SAR and anti-terrorist operations in oil rigs. In latter duty Marine Police acts together with National Guard Amphibious Special Forces. The Marine Police operates a fleet of patrol vessels from 98.6 m to RHIB, numbered similarly with Japan Coast Guard. However, Cypriot Marine Police does not use the tem "PLH" for Patrol Large Helicopter", despite having some patrol vessels with full helicopter facilities. Vessels come from various sources, including : Hellenic Kingdom, UK, Israel, Russia and domestic. Note that Cyprus AU still use the older British model for its police forces, with Cypriot Metropolitan Police (in Nicosia) and Cypriot Constabulary, plus air and marine brances.
PL (Patrol Large) : Every vessel above 45m.
PV (Patrol Vessel) : Every vessel between 20m-45m.
ML (Motor Launch) : Every vessel below 20m.
RHIBs are named with a number only.

The (Ancient) Admiral Class frigates were the first successful domestic frigate design, succeeding the previous destroyer escorts of (Ancient) General Class. They were designed mainly for Aegean and Black Sea, with quite heavy armament for their size and COGOG propulsion based on British Type 14M frigates for quick reaction time. Hellenic Kingdom was interested from very early for the Rolls Royce Olympus Gas Turbine and built them under license for many years, by the Hellenic Turbines Factory in Piraeus. Initially 20 were built for RHN and 4 for Cypriot Naval Command, plus a derivative patrol vessel with CODOG propulsion for Hellenic Coastguard, the "670" Class OPV. These were numbered from 670 to 679 and named from Coastguard officers who died in WW2. Finally, Hellenic Frontier Guard also received the OPV variant. Four shipyards built the "Admiral" family from 1965 to 1989. Despite export interest, only Malaysia adopt the design, ordering 4 in early 1980's. Some were sold second hand in Latin American countries in 2000's and in Black Sea countries, while other converted to OPVs and remained in Hellenic waters. All ships feature a semi-sliding hangar (not telescopic) and a large helipad for their size. Helicopter on board in the beginning was the Alouette III (of which around 200 were built under license in HLK and used by Army, Navy and Police Forces from 1964 to 1980), later AB-204 and finally AB-212. The venerable Alouette III in still in service under RHN Flying School, several were modified for training missions. Note that the helipad was found just large enough for AS-332C Super Puma and therefore all Coastguard and Frontier Guard OPV variant had their helipads strengthened. Some were fitted with domestic AESA medium range radar, other retained their original targeting radar but with upgraded electronics. The AWS-1 was replaced by a domestic 2D long range radar during their MLU. Admiral Class frigates were also the first large surface units of RHN fitted with the domestic HSSM-1 missile, an analog of Norwegian Penguin with IR or TV guidance and 120 kg warhead.
Cypriots converted themselves their King class frigates (all named by Ancient Cypriot Kings) into OPVs, replacing the missiles with twin hellenic origin RHIBs and fitting an hellenic RWS with Aden 30mm cannon double ended, also torpedo tubes removed. They retained the EW systems, sonar and the COGOG machinery. Cypriot Marine Police also uses Alouette III for training.

Here is the prototype Admiral Class ,F420, during her trials in late 1967. She was commissioned in June 1968 and stricken in 2000, becoming a museum ship in Salonika Naval Museum.
F424 was the first equipped with HSSM-1 missiles (commissioned in 1971), while earlier hulls built until 1972 had a single rotating quadruple 550 mm torpedo tube launcher, derivative of a french design used also in T47 destroyers.
P.S when I decide which hull sonar to use in these ships, I will add underwater hull.

Hellenic Frontier Guard operates a large fleet of coastal and offshore patrol vessels, both domestic or foreign origin. Among them are six Vigilante CL79 from CMN, entered service in early 2000's.
Frontier Guard uses the same blue-white stripes with crossed anchors of Coastguard, but the vessels are painted white instead of grey and write "Συνοριακή Φρουρά" (Hellenic Frontier Guard) and the prefix "ΣΦ" (FG). Helicopter on board is AB-412SP/HP.

Your choice of painting the hull white really does some cooldown to the ship because white reflects sunlight. At least, they still retain the generic coast guard “racing stripes” painted in blue and white, with the words on the hull changed to blue because, you know, to make those words visible.

From 1972 to 1980 ten "670" class OPVs commissioned in Hellenic Coastguard. In fact the Cypriot Pygmalion Class followed the layout of the 670 MLU, but the latter does not have sonar. These vessels were also deployed in Indian Ocean participating in Operation Atalalanta, from the Eritrean port of Assab, were HLK established a military base.
