Seems realy top quality work here, but in IMHO the fly in the ointment, so to speak, is the seemingly exessive colour of the overhang shadowing.
Any way, this is a realy wonderful work of art, so thumbs up and Jolly good work (as Andy would say... )
Image Thank you Kim for the crest

I thought the panel lines would cause a bit of debate :) If opinion suggests I'll go back and try to minimise them ... unfortunately at the moment they're so intrinsic to the drawing that if I simply recoloured them I think I'd take half the detail out too!

Really appreciate all your comments though! In terms of the overhang shading ... is it just the lower overhang? I was trying to show that the overhang there is more significant than the upper overhang but I agree that it looks too dark ... I've re-coloured it here:

I also had a crack at a scale F-35B ... I've nothing but respect for those who manage to get so much detail in such a small scale! I'm a total novice at it and I never appreciated how difficult it is! Hopefully someone more talented has one already done I can incorporate into the design. I could probably shove a Crowsnest on a Merlin, but my F35 from scratch leaves a lot to be desired

 Superb work! Looks great. :P

I agree that the panel lines are a bit too much. I also I'm not keen on the way the panel lines in the shade are a lighter tone where as the lines in the light are a darker tone.

What about the hangar doors? I'm not sure they should be completely shaded (or are the open?).

Well done though!

Apart from the small details, this is a very nice drawing ;-)

Other than the minor corrections Colombamike has pointed out this is likely one of the best drawings to be posted here in a while!

Do you have a version without those panel lines - they sort of make it look prefabricated and a bit strange
Currently working on:
- AU Royal Navy
- Various FD scale aircraft
