My eyes are fooling me or there is even counter-shadow painting still there on the main gun barrels?

A great find to be sure, and this unique triple turret is a real give away.
It really does look as if the barrels are painted in two tones

The turret tops were painted Deck Blue (20-B) as part of the Measure 22 pattern, which mandates 20-B on all horizontal surfaces. To create a consistent aerial pattern view the turret tops were always painted.
Shameless plug, but the effect is visible here:

In that pic showing the torpedo damage to the hull, I think you can still see the teak deck. Incredible.

Seems the first sonar scan fooled me about all three 8-inch turrets still being in place, the two forward ones slipped away. The aft one is still there tough (shown in a pic in the previous page).
It buggers me however that I cannot watch the stream as shared on youtube because the content is apparently not enabled to be shown here in Italy

What gets me, is that the bow ended up farther away from the main wreck.

If the bow separated from the hull near the surface because of torpedo damage it would not be strange to have it reach the floor away from the main wreck (Titanic to quote the most known example, split in two on the surface and the two halves are 600m -or 2000feet- apart on the bottom).
