Thank you, thank you, thank you! If your illustrations were any more
detailed, I would be smelling salt water.

The highest quality of art I think we've ever seen here. All of Alex's works are excellent but this takes it to the next level. I cannot imagine how long its taken to research and draw these. Many thanks for sharing these here.

Thankyou all very much for the very sweet comments! It means a lot to me) The first all-round drawing of Kruzenshtern, wish I present to crew took me like 260 hours.
And finally the one as now took 350+ (Not to note all others) Most of the time I spend aswell is walking around the shipo myself, ask and discuss with crew.
Gotmyself much books and exchange in archives, so far I am really happy its like this so far))) I am trying to finish my education as officer aboard, lots of paperwork etc, but hopefully it will work out)))
I wanna do similair as this with another ship) We will see. I hope to update all drawings + text soon!)

Is there any way of getting here the drawings again? It's a shame that a ship with such a history and the autor Alvama having gotten so many positive comments is gone here in the forum. A shame!

I'm not authorized to elucidate about the reasons, but ALVAMA no longer wants his FD-scale ships (and in other non-SB-scales as well) present on Shipbucket.

He and his father is having bloggs out there and after what I understand, his father is an historian and sometimes Alvama's drawings appears on what ever he post.

his drawings have appeard in magazines and books and so on. So I think he is doing it this way, to protect his drawings, that he have income in and can get some income on.

There is also some very old stories, about disagrement in the forum, but that is something we are not going to talk about.
