Crazy huge CGN du jour

Post any drawings you have made that do not pertain to an Alternate Universe scenario and are not a never-built design.

Mightily Impressive :o One of these for every CVN would create awe and wonder amongst the ungodly; and I note that the USN has gone for Goalkeeper.

Just a minor thing I would think it would have Phalanx not Goalkeeper, but then again its not really connected to anything so you can do what you like.

I like it very much, but why are two bridges needed? and what are the guns? (not to nitpick, just wondering :D )

The bridge configuration is the same as on Long Beach.

Just spotted this, its really nicely drawn, I just wish all the other personal desing large kick-ass-cruisers would start following this level of brilliance then this section should come lot more eye-pleasing.

As of the ship, It looks lot more reasonable than most of the counter-kirov USN desings we have seen. I really like the guns, expecially the twin 5"...makes me wanna see it more on smaller size of ships.... an USN counter-sovromeny concept anybody?

I thought about using it on a vessel I'm playing with and I may well do it but it doesn't look right on mine

Pilot house on top, flag bridge below, like all (or at least most) of the USN missile cruisers.

As I said in the first post, the 8"/55 twin is of my own imagination, but the Mk 66 5"/54 twin is a real design, albeit never built.

Cruiser my behind. That's a battleship in all but name. It's an awesome drawing, btw. Reminds me of the time you did that Typhon cruiser, althouhg that was iirc a much smaller ship.

Perhaps this is equipped with Typhon II?
Would you please not eat my gun...
