It's a pity she ended up burning out in New York, had she survived, chances are that the Normandie would be the one laid up at Long Beach.

Alex, I of course never intended to criticize you for picking this subject up. As always your drawing is a breathlessly flawless execution of art! You really have my hat off for drawing this. I was only pointing out (mostly at other comments made) the futility of the whole enterprise - but that point you seem to agree on though.
