Karle, yeah its the same deck as a Bogue/Ruler class CVE.
Brilliant drawing.My only quible with the design is it would have been better to do away with two inboard turrets and have a longer flight deck, larger hanger and more aircraft capacity.

Correct me if I`m wrong, but did`t the CVEs and CLs have F4F Wildcats and some older planes because their flight decks were too short for the F6F Hellcat, TBM Avenger and SB2C?

That is the ship perfectly for Commerce Raiding! Completed with gun and aircraft. And I just like the color scheme

USN CVLs went into combat during WWII with Hellcats and Avengers, and I seem to recall mention of USN CVEs around D-Day using Hellcats.

In Korea CVEs were launching Corsairs.
