You should probably move the RHIB to the stern area, or amidships.

about this point, ezgo is right. the bow wave will wet the entire front deck on this type of ships. the best place is is next to the superstructure, or in an hatch in the structure... hmm.... a more experienced member out here should say which is best on this ship, I am not familiar with small ships

Fairly sound. I find doing a plan(top)view helps me to see where I don't actually have enough space for something, and where I have space and didn't know it. Planviews seem to be rare here, though. Your RHIB position is going to be a very wet and dangerous place for the crew in any kind of swell, but without a plan, I couldn't tell you where a good place would be. Maybe someone else can. What if I put a water-proof shutter over it?

I was thinking that too, but deployment would be severely restricted (well, more severely than usual) by the weather.

The only real purpose for the RHIB would be inspections, running back a single crew member, ect. For everything else, the ship is small enough to dock just about anywhere.

Edit:

I've got the next version with the RAM ready, just waiting on input about the shutter.

Double Edit:

Tired of waiting.

Added RAM onto hanger roof, and moved RHIB alcove aft.

The RHIB essentially has to be mounted above decks. The current installation is going to be laughably unworkable and cuts a monstrous hole in the hull girder. It's just not the slightest bit feasible.

Or put in non technical terms, it'll break in the middle.

Hmm... Alright, I will see where I can move it above deck.
