Viper-Carrier Strike Group (CSG-7)
Carrier Strike Group 7 ("VIPER-CARRIER STRIKE GROUP"), abbreviated CSG-7, is the seventh carrier strike group in service with the German Navy. The group is constituted as an escort for the Erich Hartmann-class aircraft carrier, the KMS Otto Kittel (CVAN-197), these strike groups are used in a variety of functions, all of which involve gaining and maintaining air control of the sea. In this way, its history begins at the end of the Cold War, as well as the global conflicts and rivalries between current superpowers, covering a total of 6 deployments in its 7 years of operation to the Western Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan. The last 5 aircraft carriers of this class, being the newest, will still be on a par with their sisters in the Berlin and Diamant class since although their design does not allow them to stealth from the radar, it is true that their offensive and defensive capabilities are key. for the strategic operations of the Kriegsmarine.
The group is quite large and modern, consisting of a series of ships designed exclusively for the protection of the aircraft carrier.
