I figured the firepower is worth the trade off in ammo capacity and combat endurance, and it would also help to "future-proof" the design a bit against new IFV designs since the Lisenians can't afford to be buying a new generation of vehicle every couple of years. It also helps to simplify logistics since the 35mm round is also used for army air defense.

Switching back to aircraft for the moment, I present the air force's C.21 medium transport in foreign service. I'm still trying to come up with a decent Lisenian camo scheme.

Very nice, a kind of a what-if the C-130 had been designed in the 1970s with a whiff of the ATR series and other turboprops about it. A very nice looking AU aircraft. Your certainly doing some great work here.

Exactly the same reasons I decided to go no lower than 35 and indeed logistics.

Those freighters look damned interesting too. Like an (as yet unborn) C-295 had a fling with a Herc!
