Captured and rebuilt destroyers
After the conquest of the british isles hundreds of ships fell into german hands. Most of them were scrapped, some were rebuilt.
28 destroyers were kept and became the new 'Schlachtfeld'-class. This class included ships of battle-, c- and other late destroyerclasses. They were all rebuilt with the same specs.
This is the Battle class destroyer 'Waterloo'
Conversion rejected by owner of original drawing.

Captured C-class destroyer
This is the former C-class destroyer 'Atuatuca'.
Atuatuca had to go back to dockyard, the funnel had to be hightened.
