What does the AK-630 say to the pirate?

#1 Post by MihoshiK »

When we draw them those AK-630 30 mm gatlings allways looks so small on all those Russian boats....

Until you can see one shooting the shit out of a bunch of Somali pirates.

Warning, somewhat disturbing content ahead. It IS people at the end of that, after all:

Hm, so it's not the Youtube commenters? They DO shoot somali pirates with CIWS? I didn't even know those could be aimed without the director radar.

The Russians have a nice history of having a pile of EO directors/pointers, although I suspect even a puny dhow can be acquired just fine with the relevant radar director.

Well with a gatling gun with a high rate of fire and plenty of ammo you can just point it in the general direction and shoot. RUSSIA STRONG!!

Having been anchored less than half a nautical mile from a ship that got attacked by pirates (Read: Close enough to see the muzzle flashes, let alone hear the gunfire) I find pirate jokes to be rather tasteless.
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error
