Good looking ferry drawing Zephyr.
Re: Washington State Ferries
Once I finish up the details on this one I'll be starting on either the Spokane (Jumbo Class) or Elwha (Super Class). I've always liked the way the Washington Ferries looked, and always had a fun time riding them when I was growing up. Pretty darn good clam chowder in the passenger galley too, which I always had time for a bowl of on the trip from Anacortis to Lopez Island.

Zephyr, an FYI for S&G, I have heard Puyallup being referred to as "Puke-it-all-up", and that is from people living there, lol, I was one of them. Excellent work on the Ferries!
For anyone outside of Washington, that has never visited, here is a list of cities and towns, and how to pronounce them PROPERLY, lol.
Spokane: Spow-can
Tacoma: Tah-coh-mah
Everett: Ev-rhett
Snohomish: Snow-home-ish
Yakima: Yak-eh-maw
Kennewick: Ken-eh-wick
Pasco: Pass-coh
Whidbey: Whid-be
Graham: Gram
That's all for now, btw there is no Seacouver, it just exists in Highlander: The Series, universe. Any questions about pronunciation of Pacific Northwest Places, just ask.

Re: Washington State Ferries
question... what is behind the cutouts in the hull? you have painted it grey, but would shaded white area's not be more appropriate? or is it see through and can you see vehicles?

See through. They are openings in the hull, so I just shaded them since the interior is painted white also.acelanceloet wrote:question... what is behind the cutouts in the hull? you have painted it grey, but would shaded white area's not be more appropriate? or is it see through and can you see vehicles?
