Ladies and gentlemen I give you the Bell / Augusta BA 609
As seen at the Paris Air Show in 2007
And a blank for those who want to do their own liveries.

Re: FD Scale Aircraft 3
Nice drawing, Thiel. Small note, it's Agusta, not Augusta. It has also since become a fully owned AgustaWestland project, the AW609. I do wonder who will buy it, other than the Italian military/government services. I know it's been proposed as a USMC escort for V-22's, but surely their AV-8B's and F-35B's would be better in that role?
Shame it wasn't at Farnborough this year, I was highly impressed with the V-22, despite the noise!

I've been tinkering with a military mod if it's of any interest.Redhorse wrote:Another one for later use with the Republic of Texas.
Oops, I'll fix the typo. As for the name, in 2007, which is when I depicted it, it was still known as the BA 609.indiajuliet wrote:Nice drawing, Thiel. Small note, it's Agusta, not Augusta. Edit: There, should be fixed now.
