I've only had weather related holidays twice. The first time was because the schools boiler gave out during the week-end in the middle of winter with foreseeable results. The other time The other time a hurricane was busy tearing up trees and tool sheds.
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error

Never missed a day's school due to weather, including 40+Celsius temperatures, even though they say 35C is the limit :/

When I was still in school never missed a day due to weather either just like Rodondo. Most of the school rooms didn't even have A/C. As a result it wasn't all that surprising that whilst it still ran, about half the students didn't bother going on those days.
