WTF is up with the third one? Do they really carelessly stack river ferries like that?

barges is build to withstand a lot of forces, The hull "have to be" reinforced to withstand that type of force the receive over the years, the "frame work"is also a tad stronger than you find in for example a cruise ships.
For example in Norway when they was building that huge oil-rig "Statfjord-A" they used similar barge to transport the superstructure onto the pillars.

No wtf - Klag - No need to doubt - It's like ''what can I do..'' Blue marlin is quite some times used like this recently since the other HLVs where stranded/sunk at heavy seas a few times back. And... Only the most bellow ones are barges the other are ''vessels''
