Yeah. That's a great idea. I've often wondered how the Skyraider would have faired if they had upgraded it to a turboprop aircraft.

What are the gunpods for, though? Didn't the A-36 have .50 cals in the wings?

Yes, they did, and some even had 4 20mm, 2 per wing. This version has the 6 .50 cal, 3 per wing, and 2 20mm Gunpods (1 per wing) along with the Rocket Launchers. The real Cavalier Mustangs had a total of 6 hard-points, 3 on each wing.

For an RAF that desperately needs a maritime patrol/SAR/ISR aircraft after the retirement/scrapping of the Nimrod. If SAR was put under contract along with SAR-H, it could be seen in HM Coastguard colours:

Why desert pink. Should it not be hemp?

Yes, you're quite right. I was looking at a Nimrod in desert pink, without realising that the colour was only applied for desert ops. I'll leave it on, as it could be used by the RAF in Afghanistan for ISR.

I've added a hemp aircraft, and I'll change the description to ISR, MPA & SAR aircraft.
