1937-41 UPGRADES
Beginning in 1937 the AA armament was significantly enhanced with the removal of the older 2 Pdr guns, replacing them with 40mm AA. AA Directors were also added at this time, and the TT removed. In 1940-41 radar was added.

The Atlas class was the first of the new 8" cruisers to be rebuilt and refitted. The lowered stern was done away with in 1934 when the torpedo tubes were removed. The foremast had the spotting tops removed in 1940-41 and replaced with radar installations. The 2-pdr AA guns were also replaced with 40mm at that time.

Made a couple tweaks of the Pluto class armoured cruiser, hopefully improving it some.

This is very good,...I wonder about LPD and LHD also CV/N ships, that and DDGs
I am an Admiral of the Mcnenrian Royal Navy....and an Anglophile a lover of English things. also I like the Red Fleet. I am here on shipbucket to bulid a navy. I will maybe post a thread for artists to submit designs. I will make the navy basically UK with the USN budget.....
