Tornado-J derived "Super Tornado" in 617 Sqn. Colours
They got internal FLIR/IRST replacing the under nose package and an integrated defensive aids package freeing up the pylon used by the dispenser pod for a targeting pod which in turn resulted in the LRMTS being removed. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the tanks, I just drew them up provisionally to show a loaded Tornado. They also received CAPTOR and are in the process of receiving CAPTOR-E promoting commonality between them and the Typhoons. OSD is set for 2030 when they will likely be replaced by UCAVs. The loaded version depicted is seen carrying a pair of GBU-31 2000lb JDAMs, two (out of a possible four) IRIS-T WVRAAMs, a Sniper XR targeting pod (semi permanently mounted) and as a final modification EJ200/EJ230s in place of RB.199s.
Enjoy, ~Mark.
