I might have missed some of the shading, please tell if so.
EDIT: Barbettes has been shaded. I felt such a minor update/mistake didn't warrant for a new post.

Maybe on the *I forget the word* round things the turrets sit on top of!

The word your searching for is barbette, and the one I'm searching for is a curse for this lump of a brain of mine that forgets obvious details like that.jabba wrote:Maybe on the *I forget the word* round things the turrets sit on top of!

So, any problems now that the barbettes has been taken care of?
Re: Satsuma 1910 by KHT
I would think about using a dark grey to represent the edge of the armour belt - darker than the current hull plating lines - and if appropriate, use a light grey beneath it to show an upward-facing edge.

You might want to add the Chrysanthemum Emblem on the bow which is a must for Major Surface Combattants of IJN. Otherwise, another fine piece of artwork.

I strongly recommend recoloring the lines on the interior of the turrets to a dark grey, the same shade used for hull plating. (the ones where 2 plates meet and an angle). The black ones detract from the excellent job you've done on her.
