Battleship Design Fun

Yes, the age of the mighty cannon-weilding juggernauts is currently at an end (until we reach space or develop suitable railgun tech). In the pure sense of amusement, if anyone has projects pertaining to Battleship type vessels that could find a place in the world, post it!. Especially, any designs that pertain to a modern design for a fleet support/ naval bombardment support type heavy vessel.

I have no idea what you're even trying to get at. "Battleship type vessels that could find a place in the world?"

Right, what I'm trying to get at us if anyone has ever made a battleship design for modern use (as in 21st century and purely what if) then please post.

Something I'm doing for a friend (I've been stalled out for a couple of months - still need to draw the directors). While not 'Modern', in universe she is still a training ship part of the year:
