Another classic BH drawing. Nice deck wood detailing too. Those Avengers sure look big on that small deck, I sure wouldn't want to try landing one on a pitching deck that small!

Those lifts look too small for the Avenger. Did the tail fold on them for storing under the deck etc?

Dickhead? :D I'll prefer Bombhead! That's what friends are for. To help each other when a detail is missing or wrong. To see it yourself first before us is a good thing, so no dichead here :D :D :D :D
BTW, as usual another quality drawing again from you ;)

Did the Fleet Air Arm retain the roundels with red centers
as late as 1944? It's a small detail, but I don't remember any
photos of RN aircraft with anything other than blue/white
roundels after 1943.

Thanks for the comments mates,I'm pleased you liked the drawing. Ultimo Tiger you wre right about the lifts so I found a good photo and enlarged them on the drawing.Signal regarding the roundels my understanding is it depends were the ship was serving at the time.Home and Med fleet had the red centers.British Pacific fleet had the other type. Here's an updated and hopefully correct drawing, complete with arrester wires.Thank you for the wonderful badge Kim mate my drawings just don't seem complete without them. ;)
