It looks better and better.
This ship has a lot of potential as a destroyer leader, or a colonial gunboat.

Why are you seperating the depth charges?

I think he means why are you separating the throwers and the racks by so much.

It is a question of convinience. Placing the depth charges racks and throwers together makes it easier to re-load from the same magazine. Depth charges are heavy (around 500 pounds) and moving them around on the pitching deck of a small craft, is like an accident waiting to happen. I suggest you look at real ships (pictures and drawings) to see how they were placed

The shock from the 5" guns would still have effects on the depth charge launchers.

Yes, but will you be firing the 5" guns and firing the DC's at the same time in service?

The shock might knock things loose, but if you are engaging a submarine, you'd attempt to turn the ship so as to use the fore guns, and if you are engaging surface/air targets with the aft 5" mounts you would not likely be overly concerned about the DC mounts.

i was just toying around and decided to do something about the stern so i added some more 40mm AA instead of having extra depth charges, don't know if this would work seeing how close it is to the rear 5" gun, and btw Happy New years :)
