for any alternative and futuristic, I created an aircraft type JSF/COINT with a mixture of AV - 8b, X-32JSF, A - 10 and Mangusta / Tiger.
I named it the "AV-38 Wolf (Joint Strike Assault)"

From the side it looks like a Hind or a Comanche.
From top view its more like a F-15 Active made a baby with F4 Phantom...
Great drawing but i can't see the aircraft you mentioned in this.

Re: AV-38 Wolf (Joint Strike Assault)
correct for the ressemblences, concerning the form of the apparatus it is true also for F-4 and F-15, but what I have mentioned do not refer to forms, I'm talking about concèpte of tactical use and the fact that it is a STOL / VTOL
Re: AV-38 Wolf (Joint Strike Assault)
This aircraft is designed for ground attack missions and counter-insurgency or counterinsurgency
Re: AV-38 Wolf (Joint Strike Assault)
No need to double post... To do COIN you could just use a much cheaper aircraft like a crop duster or adapted trainer (I'm sure the future will have them)

I agree with Blackbuck, it would be extremely expensive for the COIN role, however for a science fiction aircraft, I truly like it.
