Re: Boeing 797-100
Ok, good for you. That doesn't necessarily mean that the 747's cross-section is the same as my design. Just because I started with a 747 image and modified it doesn't mean the other dimensions are the same as the 747's. It's my design.
Re: Boeing 797-100
...do you have any idea what kind of engineering changes would go into changing the cross-section of an airplane like that?
Have you ever seen a 747 from other than a profile angle?

Dude, I don't think you get the point of this being my own design. Just because I started with a 747 image doesn't mean that (if this were to be an actual design) they'd take a 747 and modify it. This is something that would be built from the ground up. It's my design so I can say what its cross-section is, and I say it has a 3-4-3 aisle layout with the size to fit it.

...it kinda does, otherwise it'd quit looking like a 747.Pegasus wrote:Dude, I don't think you get the point of this being my own design. Just because I started with a 747 image doesn't mean that (if this were to be an actual design) they'd take a 747 and modify it.
The 747 already had a 3-4-3 aisle layout on its main deck, to have an identical layout on the top deck is very difficult to pull off, not even the A380 attempts this. It's my design so I can say what its cross-section is, and I say it has a 3-4-3 aisle layout with the size to fit it.

That's kind of the point. IT'S NOT A 747!klagldsf wrote:...it kinda does, otherwise it'd quit looking like a 747.
Re: Boeing 797-100
...so why does it look like one?
Re: Boeing 797-100
Um, because that's the image I started with? What I started with is entirely irrelevant. It's just a picture.
