But seriously, I've been talking with Timothy about it this morning. As you've probably already figured out, there's no good answer. We'll all keep trying until we get something that everyone's happy with. I'd look at MihoshiK's Type 695 jammer for some alternative ideas for how to capture some of these scales.
Sorry Erik, it wasn't my intention to hurt your feelings. In fact I was 100% agreeing with you. I just wanted to make sure, I shouldn't redoing again after once darkening the grey lines. :?
Sarcasm was attempted, but it so often fails in text... I am not offended.

I have a version of the (V)2 and we'll work out differences:

Here's my humble attempt to draw the antenna for SA/SA-2/SA-3 air search set:

Please let me know if that's gonna fly and what needs to be fixed 'cause so far I don't have a tiniest idea on how to draw radars.

Having studied some additional images (large: 1, 2), I think the new MK 95 is considerably too long. Aspect ratio shouldn't be more than 1.5 or so, I suspect.

This makes it especially clear. Certainly an aspect ratio of only about 1.5

Anyway, I like SA, assuming the size is right.

Ok, rapid update due to some glaring errors in what was drawn, see the notations in the first post:

The size of the antenna is about half a pixel smaller. Should I make it larger by this half a pixel instead in accordance with the "exaggerating for clarity" rule?

Quick question: Can the SPY-3 system direct ESSM? In other words, if I have SPY-3 do I still need a Mk95?

SPY-3 is made to direct ESSM and the SM series, IIRC.
