WhyMe all the double black lines have been redrawn as a very dark grey+ 1 black line. You are wrong though at the points when 2 outline lines touch each other, then it is not a double line for one object.More corrections too.
acelanceloet you are very correct, I will fix them my self. Whether my ships go into the archive or not is admins bussiness, not yours.

I cannot decide, that's true. still, I can tell you where there are mistakes that would let the admins make the decision to not upload them. in that way I try to help. if this is not appriciated, no problem. I will stop doing that then.

I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

First of all, not all of them.ReiAyanami wrote:WhyMe all the double black lines have been redrawn as a very dark grey+ 1 black line. You are wrong though at the points when 2 outline lines touch each other, then it is not a double line for one object.
Secondly, you still have to maintain black outline around objects so what you did doesn't count.
And thirdly, a double pixel line is a double pixel line no matter what. You're saying I'm wrong. Well, those are lines, they are 2 pixel wide and they are all black. So how the heck am I wrong about them being double black pixel lines?
Perhaps, as you said, you shouldn't deprive yourself of sleep and give it another try with a fresh head next morning?

For the sake of arguement here it is what you said.
So, including the "Tropical" paint, original sceme of the ship, as it is shown is most maritime museums here:
Thank you but no. It is not time to go to bed yet, and I would like you never again to tell me to go to bed.WhyMe wrote: Perhaps, as you said, you shouldn't deprive yourself of sleep and give it another try with a fresh head next morning?

Nice drawing. Interesting ship.
I will comment on the guns in the crow's nests. The barrels are pointed upwards? I believe the (shipbucket) standard is to have them straight aft or forward if possible.

See, it wasn't that hard, was it? The drawing is getting better, although there's still some work to be done.
For the record, I've never told you to go to bed (or to do anything at all for that matter), I only asked a question. So what I would like you to do is read and answer more carefully next time because your tone is getting pretty annoying. People here are trying to help you making a better drawing and have been very polite so it would be very nice of you to act in the same manner.ReiAyanami wrote:I would like you never again to tell me to go to bed

I hate sarcasm with a passion a thousand buring stars.
I don't like your tone either, so this is this makes 2 of us. People have not been polite tonight, after 2 sleepless nights. Already in page 1 acelanceloet had the nerve to repaint my ship and upload it to this very thread before I made any corrections, which made me furious, not to mention pointing erroneously that the hull was not up to standarts, which I remade 3 times since the admin had different opinion. You immediately and without feedback questioned the design and started posting links to part sheets. Despite all this I have been stubornly correcting under your observations, but as a final straw, you also keep commenting sarcastically about me. You sir have also been out of line, and unlike me, you only have to sit and remark. Unless you want to point out anything else about the drawing, leave me out of your comments, sir.

Unless someone isen't offending, flaming or trolling, I hardly can find any other reason for people not to post&reply to whom ever they want here; After all this is internet
Also we are quite small community and lots of getting things working here depends on getting on with the good feet with other members, and taking hurt pride out of little jest and helpfull (if yet annoyingly innesserical) insigth isen't the best way to establish himself as part of the community.
In there ReiAnyami is right, when it comes to uploading it is solely in the hands of me, but I would like to point out that during the uploading sessions, i won't have time to intervene with mistakes and corrections. I either accept or deny the drawings without having the luxury to explain the exact details of it. Therefore getting the things straigth here in the forum before that is cruicial. Thus one shouldn't bite the hands that feed it, unless he can be 100% certain of what he is doing and doesen't need such feedback .
And lastly, Acelancelot, this isen't the first time people get annoyed of you beeing "helpfull" in every possible thread there can be found. Sometimes it migth be good to leave the remarks into level of suggestion and drop out the arguing part after someone isen't following your advices. The staff is here for that part. We allready had to ban some member becouse he played the role of the staff too much, don't jeopardize your own existence here with the same mistake.

you have a point. If people are not listening, it is not my problem I will no longer do so, and I 'll try to post less and draw even moreGollevainen wrote:Unless someone isen't offending, flaming or trolling, I hardly can find any other reason for people not to post&reply to whom ever they want here; After all this is internet
