Re: Future Blackhawk Replacement
This is the full set of variants with the reshaped vertical tail surfaces. I would also like to ask everyone what they think of the Hellfire missiles and their carrying frame.

I forgot to raise the second rotor up a few pixels. Here is the final version with all the updates.

Re: Future Blackhawk Replacement / A new viewpoint
I started up drawing a few things over the years,
and found this post on ship-bucket.com, to suit my drawings
the First One is Ariel - Medium Size, dual-rotor, triple motor, Transport Helicopter, seen in different arrays of configurations (later will add desc)
the second one was, a presidential/high-end configuration.
the third is a variant developed from the first configuration of the Ariel Project, the Shark, a long-rang and bigger payload, and most of all,
build-in stealth configuration and design.
Pls comment and most of all, enjoy

Re: Future Blackhawk Replacement
ok few questions:
why do you hijack someone elses thread?
where are those 3 engines? I see neither the intakes, the exhausts or any way to maintain them.
why do you even need 3?
how are the last 2 gonna fly without an vertical tail surface?

I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Re: Future Blackhawk Replacement
First thing first, Hijacking was not intended
now - jpg - sorry, I guessed I should have notice only png
about the drawings,
there is a forward air intake to supply air to all three engines, but not all of the engines work at the same time (1 for backup)
the exhausts are hidden to prevent heat signatures (but thanks for noticing and pointing it out), I remember that I wanted to make a hull so the heated air will run through this hull, and will come out from behind, giving an extra push, never got around to putting it on (sorry)
i guess by the time this model or something of the sort will (hopefully) come to life, there wont be a need for vertical tail surface...

Re: Future Blackhawk Replacement
Hijacking other peoples threads is now becoming the custom, I guess it saves the effort of having to create a new one.

Re: Future Blackhawk Replacement
In this case, I think it has to do with a non-specific thread name. If gordo had added a designation for his heli in the thread name, it would have been clear as to the subject of the threads...
Or people are just being lazy, I dunno.
