it looks like he mixed up the director and the launcher for the seawolf.......
Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens
I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Stan don't forget you need to keep some form of directors and range finders for the 15" guns.If I were to ever go back to this one, which I won't,I would ditch the hanger,Just have a heli pad and replace the hanger with a VLS Tomahawk launcher. You wouldn't need full time helis cos she would be surrounded by ASW ships anyway. If you fancy that give it a go mate.Just a suggestion. If you want to keep the Exocet launchers use the ones Bezobrazov made me for the Type 43 they suit the ship better. ;) viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1316&start=30

Crumbs :? I missed that one, (too busy looking for elusive Seawolf launchers). well spotted BH; so yes, unless you intend to aim from the actual turrets, you'll need those bigger and higher directors.

Yep directors were left out while I did some reading. I am not sure what director I shoul dbe using for her in 1980's - any suggestions.

made some changes. But regarding the crane - I just placed it where it was on the original drawing of the ship.

Why two different launchers for the SeaWolf? You have plenty of space for the big one.
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error

Worklist

Source Materiel is always welcome.
