no, they just recycled project names. this orginal Su-37 dates from Soviet days. In the russian reign, Suhoj took the designation to use on Su-27 derivates for marketing.

Here are some refined Hawker Siddeley P.1154 supersonic V/STOL fighters.

Great drawings chaps Re the P1154 Hood, I wonder if a radar equiped version would have emerged, also the same with a shipborne type? It would make an interesting variant
