I doubt it. It wouldn't be able to carry a useful number of shells.
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error

Naah its for the AU of China.
The 155mm is a bunker buster wich can also carry ASuW missiles.
Look in the AU topic to see how many of each type the AU will have.

And indeed, less shells then a 125mm or 140mm, but the turret is still big enough to carry an exclusive amount of shells/missiles to Pown you

And yes Merkava was the inspiration, since i just love that turret.
And the Hull is inspired by Leopard 2. (note the back and front, plus side hull very closely)

But i must tell. China really had a tank on the table for 90 Tons with a 140mm, and i just made a 155mm of it. That is where i got my idea.
Plus they tried to copy western tanks into a new Gen of Tanks.

And since i like Leo and Merkava, i took those to draw this.

Boeing B-17G 'Flying Fortress'
In the colours of 'Sally B', the only airworthy B-17 in Europe, which I had the pleasure of seeing last year at RAF Duxford.
