Does any body know how to color shade a veichle, like sand dirt and mud on the wheels and tracks ?
Re: FD Scale Vehicles 2
To my knowledge, the SB community tend to frown upon adding details such as rust and dirt on drawings. I'm not I have ever seen this applied to any drawings in the forum.chrisgatt7 wrote:Does any body know how to color shade a veichle, like sand dirt and mud on the wheels and tracks ?
What are you drawing at the moment?

As for FD scale and stuff posted in non-shipbucket, I couldn't give less if you want to drawn vehicles worn out or dirty, thougth I can't myself figure why would anyone want to do so, with pixel art that isen't actually suitable for presenting such worn.
Do it in SB scale to the ships, and I'll make you clean those decks to shiny brigth with most meaniest cyper-space adaptation I can imagine;)

And here are the 'originals' if anyone wants to do their own colour schemes...

I think the propeller blades shouldn't be omitted.
Other than that it's a very good job, keep it up.

Re: FD Scale Vehicles 2
for some reason the MK II looks more modern then the MK V...... but well, I never had seen the mk2 anyway
Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens

Probably because it doesn't have the great big air intake under the engine. Makes it look sleeker and more like later fighters... I think.acelanceloet wrote:for some reason the MK II looks more modern then the MK V...... but well, I never had seen the mk2 anyway
Re: FD Scale Vehicles 2
The Mk II was actually deployed after the Mk V because of problems with production I believe - while ordered towards the end of 1942 it was the end of 1944 before it started coming off the production line.
