No it's a completely new drawing - the aircraft, while it looks like the P-51, was developed to an entirely different set of requirements but never saw service due to the onset of the jet age.

the weird thing though, is that this aircraft is actually real :P
Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens
I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Too right sport; the Kangaroo was reckoned one of the best piston engined fighters ever :D

I am aware that aircraft are now the latest craze here, but I here submit a mod I did for my AU. It is an Arjun with Leo2A5-style wedge armor. I had to shrink th wedge a bit and dig out a deeper slot for the optics, but I got it down. When I first posted it to NS RRoan, aside from suggesting I create a deeper optics slot, referred to it as the "least controversial" tank mod she has seen, so I take that as a good thing. :)

I recognize the lower-left scheme as being from that crappy third Mummy movie (the one in China where Jet-Li got top billing for 15 minutes of screentime)

That scheme was used, really, in South East Asia by the RAF, and RAAF.
These colors of the roundel were chosen to avoid any confusion or mistake, so they omitted the red color, and that left only white and blue. The raeson for deletting the red is, that because the Japanese roundel was red (also known as 'Meat ball').
BTW the Bristol Beaufighter was one of my favourites aircraft, and was used as fighter, night fighter, attack-bomber, torpedo bomber and others. A truely maid-of-all-jobs.
Image Thank you Kim for the crest

I mean, I recognize the call letters (T-SK) as being from the movie.
