Great work. I was hoping this would arrive. After looking briefly over the drawing here are my initial thoughts...

1. Automatic stanchions on deck-edge elevator are missing.
2. Arrestor wires and barriers would look better darker than the deck.
3. Some Arrestor wires are missing.
4. In my experience, flight deck markings should be chrome yellow unless color evidence proves otherwise. I have color shots of Midway from 1947 with chrome yellow deck markings.
5. Arrestor pendants #1 and #7 were marked on the deck (see photo linked below)
6. Flight deck stain 21 (late) was used (similar to deck blue)
7. Guide lights are missing from the aft and forward ends.
8. See picture below for centreline dashes (yours is off-center to stb as in the plans).
9. The numerals seem a little too large. There was a specification for the size of numerals on US carriers, I’ll see if I can dig it out.
10. Tie-downs are marked on the plans: it shouldn’t be too much work to add (they seem uniform).
11. Flight deck planking is interesting on the Midways as they went fore and aft instead of athwartship as in previous designs but it could be a lot of work to add.
12. Expansion joints had steel plates covering them so should probably be shaded darker than the flight deck and without a centreline as you have up forward.
13. The focsle projection looks a little strange. The 40mm quads didn’t have circular splinter shields so there should be no black lines between them and in front of the centerline director.

Thanks for the comment @Charybdis it is very welcome from your expert point of view.

Here is the updated drawing.

Some points are already corrected, I need help to precise the following:

7. Guide lights are missing from the aft and forward ends. Where exactly please ?
8. See picture below for centreline dashes (yours is off-center to stb as in the plans). Not seeing on picture just below on october 1945 if it is the one I think.
9. The numerals seem a little too large. There was a specification for the size of numerals on US carriers, I’ll see if I can dig it out. Yes please
12. Expansion joints had steel plates covering them so should probably be shaded darker than the flight deck and without a centreline as you have up forward. Not exactly sure how to adress that.

Greetings :)

Nice job with the tie-downs. However, the deck-edge elevator and the surrounding deck extensions do not have that arrangement. The tie downs are on the strips going athwartships and the planking is also athwartships for the elevator itself.

Great picture you posted, I haven't seen that one. Note the elevators are marked with crosses, probably in white/Ocean Gray (1px).
The No.1 and No.7 arrestor wire deck marks do not completely cross the deck. they are marked on the plans but it is not easy to see them.

I would make the arrestor wires dark blue instead of grey, but it's up to you. I recommend following Colo's Enterprise of 1945 for guidance on flight deck fittings.

In this image, you can see the centerline dash marking is clearly in line with the centerline of the ship.

I can see that both picture shows the centerline being on the center, the first picture make it not look like so, due to the angle picture are take from
