I keep lobbying for a CAS/COIN Aircraft Challenge.

I would also like to propose a Light Tank/Tracked Mobile Gun (eg. Stingray, MPF, Sabrah, TAM).

For SB Challenges i have a few:

-Oceanographic Vessel
-Cold War Missile Craft
-Conventional Modern Submarine
-Cargo Ship converted into an "emergency aircraft carrier" (eg. Atlantic Conveyor)

It might be cool to do a challenge on early jets for a future challenge
i.e
design a jet that would compete with the likes of the mig 15 and the f-86.

Alternatively a challenge based on the alternative timeline of technological development shown in the japanese show, konpeki no kantai would be interesting. (design ww2 era jets or even other propeller based aircraft using cutting edge experimental technology that existed around the time with a more modern perspective)

It would also be interesting to work on something more novel like sea planes with a twist
i.e
Naval scout/ship rail launched
used for expeditions (incl special modification for operations in jungles or polar environments)

Here's an idea, what about a ballistic missile submarine or guided missile submarine challenge? I mean you did one for attack submarines.

- Soldierbucket Cold War Armoured Car Challenge (1946-1991)
- Mech Challenge. Various options for scales and period here, but I think a Mechs of 2142 or Alternate Cold War Mech challenge would be sick. or Gundam or Battletech :)
- Soldierbucket Heavy Cavalry Challenge (1100s to 1600s) (w/ horse)
- FD Scale Civilian Conversion Challenge. Draw both a civilian vehicle and an improvised or professionally converted military variant of the same vehicle. Not limited to technicals for variety reasons.

It has been two years since I shared some suggestions in this thread, so here are some more.

Shipbucket Scale
  • First ballistic missile submarine of your nation.
  • 1960s warship designed to contest an archipelago.
  • Late Cold War (1970-1991) frigate or destroyer escort.
  • Supercarrier with minimum displacement of 65,000 tons (full load).
  • Frigate for the 22nd century (enters service around 2100).
  • First crewed interstellar spacecraft of your system.
  • Aircraft carrier less than 10,000 tons (standard) built to exploit the Washington Naval Treaty loophole.
  • Legislative building of your nation's government (e.g. United States Capitol, Palace of Westminster).

Other Scales
  • Narrow gauge (2'6" or less) steam locomotive in Soldierbucket scale.
  • Tram, streetcar, or trolley in FD scale.
  • Cold War primary trainer in FD Scale (The_Sprinklez' Suggestion).
  • 'Wonder Nine' semi-automatic 9x19mm double action pistol with double-stack magazine.
  • 3D computer render of a filling station/petrol station/gas station.
  • Infantry company organization chart in FD scale.
  • Family of military trucks (e.g. FMTV, M939 series) in FD scale.
  • Firefighting apparatus in FD scale.

This one I could see being a really fun challenge

- Early missile cruiser conversion: converting an already extant gun cruiser into a 1950s era missile cruiser
I don't know what I'm doing half the time so please cut me some slack.

CURRENT AND PLANNED PROJECTS (in order of first priority)
- Altesian battlecruisers
- Altesian destroyers
- Altesian cruisers
- Altesian ironclads
- History & maps of the Alteias Republic AU

Drones (millitary or civil) in soldierbucket
Missile boat or police speed boat in fd scale
Research vessel ,rescure vessel or experimental vessel in SB scale
Full-gun or torpedo ship with modern technology in SB scale. I mean, no missile at all.
  • Wherever our Party and our army went, the people welcomed us with open arms, and we were able to take advantage of the time of the day, and we can still see the vibrant life and development of all things in front of our eyes. Twenty years later, has this place become our burial place?
In any case, the strength of the battle was 800,000 to 600,000, and the advantage is mine!

FD scale 'special purpose' aircraft, from special forces aircraft (fixed wing or helicopter), to weather research, laser aircraft, mapping aircraft, all sorts of special duty second line aircraft.
