The Skoric Daugrech R-9M, probably the most famous Skoric tank the world over. It composes the majority of the tank forces of the Daugrech, and is a heavily capable and moddable platform, as evidenced by the various amounts of derivatives it has spawned. This version being the latest version, it features newer third generation KRONT composite armor, along with SOT ERA, which is used to great effect to increase the survivability of the tank. The ERA provides excellent protection both against chemical warheads and kinetic projectiles. Among other things, the R-9 is highly versatile, being able to be pushed to great lengths while still being quite combat effective.

The tank was designed by REUA Militzezinfacture Enkorporat, with the tanks themselves being produced at the two main tank plants in the Daugrech(Armasig and Kronsom plant).

The Skoric 'Grey Knight' an indigenously designed urban combat vehicle. It features a high-power 30mm cannon capable of firing a variety of ammunition, namely the newer programmable ammunition that was rapidly entering service in the Armed forces. The Grey Knight is a rather large modification over the original prototype (Mk.91.400). The most striking features are the added compsite side skirts and up-armoured turret(these modifications were made to allow better coverage and protection against the anti-tank weapons in service at the time). A whole new host of systems were also mounted, namely an improved CITV and gunners sight, both of which provided second generation thermal vision. Meanwhile, the driver was provided night vision(missing on the prototype) and improved optics for better situational awareness. The armoring around the engine bay meanwhile was up armored (40mm), with slat armor also being mounted to the side.

Another modification was the addition of a new engine, the HLB-1200 (SARK). The engine was alot more reliable than the RUK-1500, though providing less horsepower it was significantly more superior wit fuel effiency, and was smaller(With the extra space allowing the fuel tanks to be expanded, thus increasing fuel capacity). It also featured a reverse gear box, and as such was able to go backwards as fast as it could go forwards.

Some additional improvements were suggested however, that being the mounting of the HUG APS system, which was supposed to be mounted on the experimental R-50 MBT. However this plan fell through because the R-50 project failed miserably.

The Grey Knight saw action in the northeast at Jarclau in the Muwaic PSR. It proved to be a hard nut to crack for seperatists due to the large amount of composite screens, and the increased situational awareness granted by the better optics.

The jointly developed Universal Battle Tank (UBT program) would eventually lead to the UBT-90 (or MPT-90, as the Mugaw's call it). It seeked to use as few parts as possible while deriving from as many commonly available parts while using some novel technologies developed at the time. Among one of the standardized parts was the tracks, machineguns, main cannon and ammunition, fuel type, and engine (The Universally Common Engine (UCE)). It also made use of the Mugawn manufactured ERA 'JALT', which was installed as inserts into the turret face, sides and the UFP of the hull. Performance of the ERA is classified, but it is believed to be quite effective and an improvement over the earlier 'THUR' ERA, providing protection against kinetic projectiles aswell.

The tank itself is overall lighter than the heavy R-9M which is in service with the Skoric armed forces, and the R-9MWN (A Mugawn derivative of the Skoric R-9). Although being incredibly advanced at the time of its development, it was rejected by the Skoric Daugrech due to perceived economical benefit of continued upgrading of its vast fleet of legacy R-9's. The Mugawns however would eventually label it as its 'Future Light Battle Tank' (FLBT), and would start producing the first serial MPT-90's in 1995 with some help from the Skoric Daugrech. The MPT-90 would quickly become the mainstay of the Mugawn tank forces, and would see action in 2001, repelling a probing attack by the 45'th Armored Assault Division of the Ruvian Empire.

First and foremost, there were quite a few main flaws found to be present with the design, which were eventually ironed out:

-Poor reverse speed
-Unreliable transmission
-Poor gun depression
-Low resolution Thermals
-Low driver awareness (A consequence of the few vision blocks given to the driver)

The MPT-90 bore a 20mm anti-aircraft cannon (Which would eventually be phased out), a 13mm heavy machinegun of Skoric manufacture, and a coaxial 7.62mm machinegun. There was also of course the massive autoloaded 120mm cannon, manufactured within the Skoric Daugrech and Muwagana PSR(Manufactured under license here though).

Skoric Daugrech's IKM-200 APC.
Image
The Mk.04.200, or IKM-200, is a Skoric APC that entered service in 2004. It was designed to be a highly versatile platform capable of being configured for a whole host of roles. The most common variant has a Gatlon II beam-riding anti-tank missile along with a 13mm heavy machine gun. It first saw active combat against anti-socialist rebels in the north-eastern province of Jarclau in the Muwaic PSR. Its high speed and excellent protection made it highly desirable in the conflict, with its Gatlon II ATGM also being capable of destroying every tank fielded by the rebels at the time (namely the Ruvian Empire G-88 'Lancer').

The IKM-200, apart from seeing use in the Skoric Armed forces, sees service with two other countries. The Muwaic PSR and Deysian Federation both operate the IKM-200, though Deysia produced its own variant of it domestically under license. A future variant of the IKM-200 seeing trials includes extra protection in the form of large, bolt on composite screens. New systems are also being designed to further extend the capability of the platform, such as the mounting of an anti-air system (SLaK-P). The mounting of 20mm, 30mm, 40mm and even 53mm auto-cannon's are being considered (All manufactured by Melhiet RF and ARM), to further increase the potency. There is also talks of mounting a 120mm or 105mm cannon to fulfill the role as a light tank.

Skoric Daugrech IKM-200(H) APC (4x4)
Image
The Mk.04.200, is a 4x4 version of the original IKM-200 (8x8). Most versions of this type come equipped with a standard 13mm machinegun and a Gatlon II ATGM. The vehicle itself was to be used as a light reconnaissance and attack vehicle, something it excelled at in Jarclau. It also sees much use with the Skoric Enforcement Agency (SEA), with variants of the 4x4 being used for internal security.

In terms of its domestic use as a riot control vehicle, it is generally armed with either a water cannon or a pintle mounted 13mm heavymachinegun using live or rubber bullets. The 4x4 has, however, seen more promise fulfilling an internal security role than one that is tactical. A rather large volume of framed were serially produced as per an order of 1200 by the Deysian Federation over the course of 10 years.

The IKM-200(M) is the modernized version of the IKM-200(8x8). It features the same turret from the IKM-900, and as such, has many capabilites in common.

Being the upgraded version, a newer composite screen was installed, and certain parts had been replaced with newer robust parts. Maintenance times and costs were also slashed across the board thanks to the use of new materials and changes to how vehicles were to be stored. The IKM-200(M) has enough space to fit 9 or 11 soldiers as well, though this may vary depending on the role each individual one is serving.

The 200(M) would see first service during the short three-week invasion of the Obnian SAS in the Skoric Daugrech. Despite being short, it was rather high-intensity. Many garrisoned troops defected to the Obnian Democratic Peoples Front, taking with the large volumes of equipment. The 200(M) was used extensively in combined arms operations and was relatively successful in its role of providing support to the infantry. Both in urban, and rural areas. The optical tracking system that was installed was also quite effective in increasing lethality against helicopters and low-flying aircraft. Despite it being lauded as being successful, nearly 250 200(M)'s were destroyed or rendered inoperable. There was a question raised, on whether the operation could've been carried out more efficiently. The general consensus of the General Staff is that the conflict between the main body of the military against its own detached tumor posited a moral conflict that degraded the overall morale of the standing forces.

Based on the data gathered, a new upgrade package was deemed necessary for the 200(M). The near peer-to-peer conflict, however ridiculous, offered a glimpse of a potential war against the Ruvian Empire. Any strikingly problematic issues needed to be ironed out, as it would be nonsensical to do so during a war than before a potential one.

During the late 90's, the Skoric military desired a light and highly mobile tracked IFV to complement the wheeled IKM-200 which was also in development at the time. The original design did not have the ability to mount a turret, as it was originally going to have a pintle mounted machinegun and a Gatlon I ATGM mounted. At the time of the development, it was considered paramount for it be short and concpicious. However this was completely abandonded around the same time the project leader died unexpectedly. The Senior head of the Skoric ARM design buearau, Aslon Z. Proy, took the lead of the project, around the time which the military dropped the low siloheutte requirement.

The new design was raised slightly, and hull was modified to be able to allow as big a turret as possible. Apart from making the turret ring bigger, there was now enough space aswell to fit 8 or 9 soldiers. A more powerful engine was installed aswell, along with composite screens that were mounted along the side of vehicle and UFP. The possibility of utilizing a more powerful armament as also exploited, with the 55mm Melhiet SAN/K auto-cannon being mounted, alongside a 13mm coaxially mounted heavy machinegun and the newer Gatlon II ATGM. alongside this, the IFV was given amphibious capbilities, similar to the IKM-200, and thermals for the gunner along with a CITV.

Despite its high tech nature, it faced many obstacles due to budget cuts and various levels of political meddling. The IKM-200 suffered a similar fate aswell, yet they would still press on and into service during the 2000's, with some minor modifications being added. By the time of their introduction however they of course lost their high tech advantange, as most other nations, most conceringly the Ruvian Empire, was already fielding in great numbers an IFV of comparable or superior quaility to the IKM-900.

As for when it first saw service, the Skoric IKM-900 saw service during the 2006-2010 Democratic Insurgency in the North-east of the Muwaic PSR. A province that bordered the Ruvian Empire. It was used by Skoric Forces to sift through the remains of the city of Islavaborg after it was shelled over the course of several weeks, and many were retrofitted to carry wounded men, women and children to hospitals on the city limits. Apart from this, it was also used to engage remaining rebel cells that still remained in the city, and was one of the primary forces in permenantly destroying the tactical advantage of the Muwaic Democratic Front.

The Kpht 344 is a Skoric-produced tank based on the UBT program that jointly operated between the Mugawana PSR and the Skoric Daugrech. Due to varying needs and partly the reluctance to share indigenous technology with the Mugawana PSR led to the program ending. However, the Mugawns would go onto develop it further on their own, turning it into the MPT-90. The Skorics meanwhile reused the hull that was designed, giving it a better more robust engine (almost 1500 HP) which greatly enhanced its mobility. It was also given an entirely new turret and the latest optics, namely a completely new Thermal sight. The main armament did not change however, still using the tried and tested Skoric 120mm cannon. Unlike the MPT-90, it doesn't have a 20mm anti-aircraft cannon, instead having a 13mm heavy machinegun.

Apart from visible changes, there were some changes 'beneath the hood' so to say. New materials were added to the composite armor to enhance protection against KE and CE, something that stands in stark contrast to the tungsten inserts used on the MPT-90. Large blocky composite screens were also mounted to the side of the tank to increase survivability against RPG's and give all-round protection against old CE rounds.

The Kpht 344 would become the right arm of the Skoric armed forces, as its mobility, advanced protection and next-generation optics allowed to be superior to most tanks that were/are fielded by enemies. This was evidently clear during the Skoric intervention into the North-east of the Mugawana PSR. The tank was proven to be hard to destroy using rebel weaponry, and as such, mobility kills were the only feasible means of knocking out the Kpht 344.

The KPHT 344 has an upgrade kit in the works that currently seeks to improve upon it. The KPHT 344(M) is supposed to be a highly modern version, utilizing new optics and sensors that are supposed to heighten situational awareness, survivability, and also lethality.

Improvement of the potential KPHT 344(M) includes the mounting of heavier composite screens, and also additional armor in the form of composite blocks that are mounted to the UFP, providing more protection against KE and also CE weapons. Along with the additional external armor, the composite armor is set to receive a newly developed composite armor scheme with depleted uranium inserts, which provides 40% extra protection against CE and KE over the previous scheme at the cost of a large increase in weight. A hard-kill/soft-kill active protection system is also going to be installed (CON) which provides protection against SACLOS missiles, and even some kinetic penetrators. A new engine is also installed, which provides 1700 horsepower, compared to the 1500 horsepower of the KPHT 344. The same transmission is kept, however, keeping its incredibly quick reverse speed.

Apart from the survivability upgrade, there is also the lethality upgrade. The autoloader is more newer and reliable, with the turret bustle also being expanded to accommodate more shells. The gun is also lengthened by 11 calibers, so as to be able to use a more newer APFSDS shell that was developed, with 30% more penetration against the previous top KE shell. CE performance is still about the same, however, the velocity is increased by a slight amount.
