Given that there's at least two other sizeable AU threads that are mainly FD scale in the AU section, there's really no reason to split. Keeping everything together is best.

I'd say that in principle: yes - but only assuming there IS actually some SB-scale content in the thread, and here so far it seems to be missing.
(on a completely side note, I'd say that I'm wondering, to what extent some FD-scale works made by newer members in a Ro-Po Max-esque style are still SB/FD style, especially regarding shading)

Between 2008 and 2009, the Federal Police acquired seven units of this American-made helicopter, the S-70A version for air assault and medical evacuation missions. Enrolled PF-101 through PF-107 arrived in this semi-matte scheme in dark blue and white titles. They are identified by the fact that most have a radome on the nose for weather radar.

Later, between 2011 and 2012, six more units donated by the United States government through the Mérida Initiative arrived, but of the most modern version UH-60M, which have FLIR electro-optical equipment installed in the nose, which raised to 13 the total number of this model in the ranks of this institution, although other models from other manufacturers are operated. At least two units have been lost in accidents.

In 2019 they were transferred to the then new National Guard, along with the rest of the defunct PF's air fleet. They were painted white with gray and black. Registered GN-101 to GN-107 for Lima.

At the end of 2011, three new American-made Blackhawk aircraft were received, donated by the United States government to our country under the Merida Initiative to support the fight against organized crime. Originally registered AMHA-300 to AMHA 302 (Armada de México Helicóptero de Apoyo), they arrived in this attractive two-tone irregular camouflage scheme of naval gray with black titles, and were assigned to the First Naval Air Support Squadron. Time later they were re-registered, ANX-2300 to ANX-2302. After their delivery, Donaldson Aerospace & Defense filters against dust and sand were installed for the air intakes of their two engines, called Inlet Barrier Filter (IBF), which allows them to operate with greater safety in coastal environments.

In 2014, seven more new units were acquired, which were delivered during 2017, which brings the fleet to 10 units. The remaining teams would be registered ANX-2303 to ANX-2309. These new units were already equipped with the IBF. They are used in maritime and land interception, reconnaissance, search and rescue missions.

Operated by two pilots, they also carry two more people who operate the weapons and can carry up to 14 people seated. They have two General Electric T700-GE-701D turboshafts that generate 1,716 shp each, although they can rise to 2,000 shp for 2.5 minutes in case of loss of an engine to make an emergency landing that move a four-blade propeller on its main rotor and another quadriblade in the tail that gives it a maximum speed of 160 knots (295 km/h), a ceiling of 19,000 feet (5,790 m) and a range of 320 nautical miles (590 km) that can be extended if tanks are installed external (up to four of them). It can lift loads from a lap hook up to 8,000 lbs. (3,600 kg). The Blackhawks of the Mexican Navy have a cockpit with multifunction screens and a FLIR Star Safire III electro-optical system in the nose. They also carry a winch for hoisting people. The seven units purchased by our country already incorporate the new optional exhaust systems with which these rotary-wing aircraft are offered, called Upturned Exhaust System (UES), which directs the gases from its two engines directly upwards, to the rotor to dissipate them more quickly, thereby reducing the infrared signature and leaving it less exposed to targeted weapon attacks with heat-sensing devices.

They are armed with two US-made 7.62mm M60 machine guns or two US-made 7.62mm Dillon Aero M134D Minigun multi-barreled machine guns.

The Mexican Air Force has had six new units of the UH-60L version since 1991 and as of 2016 it incorporated 18 more new units of the same model in the image. Around 2011, the Federal Police received six units of the same model, also donated by the Merida Initiative, which joined the seven older UH-60Ls they already owned. The government of the State of Jalisco also operates a single example of the S-70A (civilian version of the UH-60L).

HMS Prince of Wales was a King George V-class battleship of the Royal Navy, built at the Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead, England. She had an extensive battle history, first seeing action in August 1940 while still being outfitted in her drydock when she was attacked and damaged by German aircraft. In her brief but storied career, she was involved in several key actions of the Second World War, including the May 1941 Battle of the Denmark Strait where she scored three hits against the German battleship Bismarck, forcing Bismarck to abandon her raiding mission and head to port for repairs. Prince of Wales later escorted one of the Malta convoys in the Mediterranean, and then attempted to intercept Japanese troop convoys off the coast of Malaya as part of Force Z when she was sunk on 10 December 1941, two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

She was sunk alongside her consort, the battlecruiser HMS Repulse, by Japanese bombers when they became the first capital ships to be sunk solely by air power on the open sea, a harbinger of the diminishing role this class of ships was subsequently to play in naval warfare. The wreck of Prince of Wales lies upside down in 223 feet (68 m) of water, near Kuantan, in the South China Sea.


On 22 May 1941, Prince of Wales, the battlecruiser Hood and six destroyers were ordered to take station south of Iceland and intercept the German battleship Bismarck if she attempted to break out into the Atlantic. Captain John Leach knew that main-battery breakdowns were likely to occur, since Vickers-Armstrongs technicians had already corrected some that took place during training exercises in Scapa Flow. These technicians were personally requested by the captain to remain aboard. They did so and played an important role in the resulting action.

The next day Bismarck, in company with the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, was reported heading south-westward in the Denmark Strait. At 20:00 Vice-Admiral Lancelot Holland, in his flagship Hood, ordered the force to steam at 27 knots (50 km/h), which it did most of the night. His battle plan called for Prince of Wales and Hood to concentrate on Bismarck, while the cruisers Norfolk and Suffolk would handle Prinz Eugen. However the two cruisers were not informed of this plan because of strict radio silence. At 02:00, on 24 May, the destroyers were sent as a screen to search for the German ships to the north, and at 02:47 Hood and Prince of Wales increased speed to 28 knots (52 km/h) and changed course slightly to obtain a better target angle on the German ships. The weather improved, with 10-mile (16 km) visibility, and crews were at action stations by 05:10.

At 05:37 an enemy contact report was made, and course was changed to starboard to close range. Neither ship was in good fighting trim. Hood, designed twenty-five years earlier, lacked adequate decking armor and would have to close the range quickly, as she would become progressively less vulnerable to plunging shellfire at shorter ranges. She had completed an overhaul in March and her crew had not been adequately retrained. Prince of Wales, with thicker armor, was less vulnerable to 15-inch shells at ranges greater than 17,000 feet (5,200 m), but her crew had also not been trained to battle efficiency. The British ships made their last course change at 05:49, but they had made their approach too fine (the German ships were only 30 degrees on the starboard bow) and their aft turrets could not fire. Prinz Eugen, with Bismarck astern, had Prince of Wales and Hood slightly forward of the beam, and both ships could deliver full broadsides.

At 05:53, despite seas breaking over the bows, Prince of Wales opened fire on Bismarck at 26,500 yards (24,200 m). There was some confusion among the British as to which ship was Bismarck and thirty seconds earlier Hood had mistakenly opened fire on Prinz Eugen as the German ships had similar profiles. Hood's first salvo straddled the enemy ship, but Prinz Eugen, in less than three minutes, scored 8-inch-shell hits on Hood. The first shots by Prince of Wales – two three-gun salvoes at ten second intervals – were 1,000 yards over. The turret rangefinders on Prince of Wales could not be used because of spray over the bow and fire was instead directed from the 15-foot (4.6 m) rangefinders in the control tower.

The sixth, ninth and thirteenth salvos were straddles and two hits were made on Bismarck. One shell holed her bow and caused Bismarck to lose 1,000 tons of fuel oil, mostly to salt-water contamination. The other fell short, and entered Bismarck below her side armor belt, the shell exploded and flooded the auxiliary boiler machinery room and forced the shutdown of two boilers due to a slow leak in the boiler room immediately aft. The loss of fuel and boiler power were decisive factors in the Bismarck's decision to return to port. In Prince of Wales, "A1" gun ceased fire after the first salvo due to a defect. Sporadic breakdowns occurred until the decision to turn away was made, and during the turn "Y" turret jammed.

Both German ships initially concentrated their fire on Hood and destroyed her with salvoes of 8- and 15-inch shells. An 8-inch shell hit the boat deck and struck a ready service locker for the UP rocket projectors, and a fire blazed high above the first superstructure deck. At 05:58 at a range of 16,500 yards (15,100 m), the force commander ordered a turn of 20 degrees to port to open the range and bring the full battery of the British ships to bear on Bismarck. As the turn began, Bismarck straddled Hood with her third and fourth four-gun salvoes and at 06:01 the fifth salvo hit her, causing a large explosion. Flames shot up near Hood's masts, then an orange-coloured fireball and an enormous smoke cloud obliterated the ship. On Prince of Wales, it seemed that Hood collapsed amidships, and the bow and stern could be seen rising as she rapidly settled. Prince of Wales made a sharp starboard turn to avoid hitting the debris and in doing so further closed the range between her and the German ships. In the four-minute action, Hood, the largest battlecruiser in the world, had been sunk. 1,419 officers and men were killed. Only three men survived.

Prince of Wales fired unopposed until she began a port turn at 05:57, when Prinz Eugen took her under fire. After Hood exploded at 06:01, the Germans opened intense and accurate fire on Prince of Wales, with 15-inch, 8-inch and 5.9-inch guns. A heavy hit was sustained below the waterline as Prince of Wales maneuvered through the wreckage of Hood. At 06:02, a 15-inch shell struck the starboard side of the compass platform and killed the majority of the personnel there. The navigating officer was wounded, but Captain Leach was unhurt. Casualties were caused by the fragments from the shell's ballistic cap and the material it dislodged in its diagonal path through the compass platform. A 15-inch diving shell penetrated the ship's side below the armor belt amidships, failed to explode and came to rest in the wing compartments on the starboard side of the after boiler rooms. The shell was discovered and defused when the ship was docked at Rosyth.

At 06:05 Captain Leach decided to disengage and laid down a heavy smokescreen to cover Prince of Wales's escape. Following this, Leach radioed the Norfolk that Hood had been sunk and then proceeded to join Suffolk roughly 15 to 17 miles (24 to 27 km) astern of Bismarck. Throughout the day the British ships continued to chase Bismarck until at 18:16 when Suffolk sighted the German battleship at 22,000 yards (20,000 m). Prince of Wales then opened fire on Bismarck at an extreme range of 30,300 yards (27,700 m), she fired 12 salvos but all of them missed. At 01:00 on 25 May Prince of Wales once again regained contact and opened fire at a radar range of 20,000 yards (18,000 m), after observers believed that she had scored a hit on Bismarck, Prince of Wales's "A" turret temporarily jammed, leaving her with only six operational guns.[18] After losing Bismarck owing to poor visibility and after searching for 12 hours, Prince of Wales headed for Iceland and took no further part in actions against Bismarck.

The Super Alsace, is a proposed French battleship that was built based on naval superiority in the face of large landings and escorting of highly important convoys for supplying troops in the Mediterranean, of course that although it is a multipurpose ship its main task is to maintain a strong position against rival and allied ships like the Montana, Yamamoto, Grosser Kurfust, etc ..

XFA-27

The XFA-27 is a unique multirole aircraft. It was one of the first original aircraft designs to be featured in an Ace Combat game, specifically Ace Combat 2 in 1997, alongside the ADF-01 FALKEN and XB-10. Since its original appearance, it has mostly been restricted to handheld titles.

The XFA-27 was developed in haste by the Usean Allied Forces as their "last hope" to defeat the Usean Rebel Forces during the Usean coup d'état. The aircraft was given to Phoenix, who was similarly hired as a last-ditch effort to quell the rebellion.

The XFA-27 adopts a sleek, angular design with variable geometry wings and high-output engines, giving it an extreme level of maneuverability and acceleration. A distinguishing feature of the jet is its ability to release four missiles in quick succession. Its cockpit uses COFFIN in a very limited degree, employing cameras beneath the cockpit to ensure maximum visibility while retaining a conventional glass canopy.

In March 2015, the XFA-27 was added to Ace Combat Infinity, its first home console appearance in 18 years. Along with the R-101 Delphinus #1, the XFA-27 was a late-game aircraft available at the far end of the Aircraft Tree, requiring an exorbitant amount of credits to unlock and upgrade.

The Piasecki H-21 Workhorse/Shawnee was an American helicopter, the fourth in a line of twin-rotor helicopters designed and built by the Piasecki Helicopter Company (later Boeing Vertol). Often called the "flying banana", it was a multipurpose helicopter, using wheels, skis, or floats. It was used for rescue in the Arctic because it had good performance even in low temperatures.

Stealth helicopters are helicopters that incorporate stealth technology to avoid detection. In recent years, blade designs have emerged that can significantly reduce noise, which is a major problem for clandestine use of helicopters. A raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in May 2011 used two Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks, heavily modified for quieter operations and employing stealth technology to be less visible to radar.

The Sikorsky SH-60(S)"Silent Hawk" is a medium-sized, twin-engine, four-blade rotor, medium-lift utility helicopter manufactured by the American company Sikorsky Aircraft. Sikorsky Aircraft submitted the design of the Sikorsky MH-60X for the 2013 U.S. Army (Utility Stealth Tactical Transport) call for a stealth tactical transport utility helicopter. The Army designated the prototype the MH-60x and, after completing a couple of high-value, secret missions with very favorable results, it was chosen as the basis for a new project in 2015. The UH-60S entered service with the Army. American in 2017 as a new generation helicopter.
