Oerwoudkat-90

A 4 wheeled armored vehicle equipped with a 90mm cannon, the oerwoudkat is suitable in a variety of support roles
such as reconnaissance, fire support, and deep penetration operations in a quick and relatively cheap platform.




Propulsion comes from a 300hp gasoline engine with a 8-speed gearbox mounted in the right side of the hull.
The crew consists of a gunner and commander (reloading is the commander's task) in the turret, and a driver in the hull.
It is lightly armoured, with 12mm on the sides and rear, and up to 40mm on the front slope.

Its easy maintenance and reliability is prized by the crews that operate this type.
As such, it is used by many foreign operators, and the Oerwoudkat is still used today in various roles.
Some vehicles were even modified to fill certain operational niches, this was possible due to the versatility of the chassis.
