Re: FD Scale Partsheets (Air)
Necroing but I wasn't sure where else to put this
Non-exhaustive list of historical and contemporary roundels used by most air forces, either drawn by me or collected here from other people's works. I know for sure there are ones I missed but this should cover a good 90% of all historical roundels, plus a few non-military (and Ace Combat) insignia. My primary goal was completion over 100% perfect accuracy, so some colors may still be a bit off compared to their real equivalent designs.

An important note on the NASA device (not the full meatball shown, but the simpler arrow text and orbit one) is that the upper point of the arrow/wing always points aft on aircraft. I've gone & made a big version of one that points the opposite way of the traditional device here.
edit: This is NOT the case with the meatball as shown.

Greatly appreciate the work on those roundels, man.
Can I ask you something else; what font did you use for this template? Good pixel fonts are surprisingly difficult to come by.

Nice!
I can use the Ukrainian one for the CJ A319 of Volodymir Zelensky - the Current PoU (President of Ukraine)
But anyways, that's a nice work!

So I decided to take a shot on post-WWII Soviet bombs (so long as available plan drawings will allow), and started off with the M-54 series of GP/HE bombs:
Plans and data primarily taken from Yefim Gordon's Soviet/Russian Aircraft Weapons Since World War Two and a product brochure from the Bazalt munitions company; additional data from a well-done, well-researched weapons mod pack for the flightsim game Strike Fighters 2 (hosted at the CombatAce website; haven't played that game for a long time). A few caveats include approximate colors ("navy gray"), and things getting dicey on the body diameter vs. fin span scaling on the 3000+ that I bit the bullet and just focused on the former's dimensions.

Re: FD Scale Partsheets (Air)
Very nice, its interesting how you use a dark line with the black line on the fins of the biggest bombs. Some people, me included, have started to represent cylindrical shapes using a light line about 1/4th of the way down from the top, you might want to try it too. Also the bomb noses all seem to be in the base colour instead of highlight.
Minor nitpicks, these bombs will surely prove to be popular.

Those were meant to represent the reinforcing strips on the bases of the fins.Charguizard wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2020, 5:45 pm Very nice, its interesting how you use a dark line with the black line on the fins of the biggest bombs.
Previous post updated, now including most other generations and variants (fixed the shading on the M-54s).
