I couldn't find a decent WW1 SMS Scharnhorst, plenty of WW2 Scharnhorst. All the pictures I found were blurry so I had read that Scharnhorst was based on the preceding Roon class so I took SMS Roon 1908 by (DG_Alpha) http://www.shipbucket.com/drawings/6553/file. I lengthened it made modifications to the superstructure and armaments. If I made mistakes or got things wrong please let me know.

Here's some stuff on the Sharnhorst that would make it far more accurate than taking the Roon as a base:

Also new artist to Shipbucket are recommended to post in the beginner section first, so we know how new you are on this forum and can tread you accordingly
That aside
A fast check on the main side gave me this:

7. Crediting and use of pre-drawn components
All Shipbucket drawings have the original author(s)' names shown in parentheses below the ship class and name in the top right corner of the template. Always place your name on the drawings you have created.
Artists who modify others' drawings must place their name after the original author's name in the template's credit line. Never remove the original artist's name.

Re: SMS Scharnhorst not DKM Scharnhorst
That can't be SMS Scharnhorst
It might be an drawing variant on it, a never were version. in that era they had only two "big" turret forward and aft and barberte in the sides, first when SMS Blücher come you could see them with big turret all around (dreadnought style) (as I can see it)
For me it looks like they was trying to find a way to compensate for dreadnought before they build SMS Blücher
unless it was a way to make her into a pre-dreadnought battleships

Hi, and welcome to Shipbucket. As allready mentioned, we don't work in SB by so that producing art to depict real life objects by derivating them from existing artwork depicting something else. That method can be used for portraying imaginary stuff, but for real life drawings, artists are required to give their best research and study of the available references and produce work that is as accurate as possible in showing the subject...well as accurate as pixels allows us to be anyway.
