ARA Veinticinco de Mayo C-2

#1 Post by Skimbo »

Here is my first real design drawing, the argentinian Veinticinco de Mayo heavy cruiser.

I believe this one is significantly more accurate than the one which is currently on the archive. the old one has the forward superstructure and funnel placed too far forwards, along with other inconsistencies such as lacking a bulbous bow. i have found several reliable sources backing this up.

I like it! It kinda reminds me of some of the WWII Italian cruisers. Nice job!

Tiny comment: according to your credits, this was drawn by kilomuse and modified from an existing drawing by Skimbo. Last author always comes last ;)
Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens
I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Good morning. Hi, Skimbo, welcome to the bucket! Only a little detail, the argentinian national flag usually is/was hung from the inclined mast (in spanish "pico de la cangreja"), and from the high position the commander/admiral flag is flown (an azzure flag). Cheers.
