Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
Awesome work! I'm guessing there will be a few more drawings showing wartime modifications and camouflage?
Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
Fantastic series! Very well done!!
Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
I've added the Swordfish to the 1937 Barham edition and imrpoved on the rebuilds that have the Swordfish in front view.
Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
I've updated all of the drawings with recolored armor and rigging. Additionally I've improved the hue for the WW1 mid-grey and darkened the post-war 507B paint scheme.

Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
Awesome job...looking forward to seeing the wartime versions!
Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
These do look really good Karle94 but I agree with Armoured man, the lack of shading where objects overhang other parts of the superstructure do detract from the drawing. Adding shading would greatly enhance them.
P.S After downloading a drawing I do see that you have included shading, it might be an improvement to make the shading darker, to make it more visible.

The links are all broken!! Karle94, what's happened to all your SB art? I know you have a Deviantart page, but a lot of those images don't appear to be uploaded in .png format and, therefore, aren't much use...Karle94 wrote: ↑May 13th, 2021, 12:47 pm Here is the lineup of the entire Queen Elisabeth class from 1914 up until the early-mid 30s. I wanted to do these before starting on the second rebuilds as some of them are approaching the WW2 era, and I wanted to nail down the ships before their appearance starts to wildly differ, for the sake of speed and efficiency.

Re: Queen Elisabeth Class Battleship
If you right click on images on deviantart and choose save, you get a jpg and bad image from there, if you however choose the downwards poining arrow with a line under it that says download image, you get the true png image that was uploaded. The reason these links are broken is cause I haven't updated them as doing just that seemed to have crashed the forum a few months ago, and recently the bots have invaded again and made the forum slow as all heck.
Edit: Updated all image links, not just in this thread, but all others including the more recent work/additions that are in the archives, but had yet to be updated here on the forum. And the forum did not even crash. Consider the stress test done and passed.
