Re: Future challenge ideas/suggestions
Might be hard to implement, but...
A "Finish your Works-in-Progress" Challenge. If you started working on an entry for any other challenge, or missed it entirely, you can finish and submit it to be judged under the original criteria. Of course we would need to limit which challenges could be used, as we wouldn't want thirty different judging criteria, but for example anything from the "modern" challenge era post-2019 may work.
Judging/scoring categories could be as follows:
Drawing Quality - The overall quality of the drawing. One might consider detailing, shading, and accuracy.
Design Quality -The quality of the design presented, irrespective of drawing quality. One could consider feasibility, practicality, and realism.
Plus the addition of:
Suitability - Does the drawing meet the requirements or spirit of the challenge it was intended to be submitted for? Does it make sense as a submission for that challenge, or is it only vaguely related to the criteria originally set forth?

After seeing some of the modernized world war 2 aircraft carriers in both the last challenge and in other parts of this forum. Why not have a challenge were they try to see what a modernized aircraft carrier from a world war 2 country would look like. I mean we know what the Essex class look like but what about other countries carriers.

Re: Future challenge ideas/suggestions
would that be a carrier completed by 1945 or laid down by 1945
Re: Future challenge ideas/suggestions
Either one.
