I personally would not recommend drawing in the hull plating ;) As Hood says, it is usually not visible from the distance a ship is seen from when it is the size of a shipbucket drawing, and it usually even a distraction from how the ship really looks.
Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens

So this si the modified version with lifeboats all by itself.

I gathered the courage to do the centrail propeller (not sure about shape) and all the drains and seachests on the hull,

So that's two things scratched out. I'm still having to leave the shading and rigging redo to other artists. shell plating is out of the picture.

Very nice work! Are you going to do the same with Olympic and Britannic?

So someone advised to me that Adding hull pating would make the ship more cluttered, so I made this as a test.

does this look at all cluttered to you?

Based on that sample I'd say go for it and see what it looks like.

though i still will leave the shading to someone else since I have tried shading a hull before and it didn't look good because shading on the source image was not defined and i tried to eyeball it.

we do not shade like how it looks on pictures, instead Shipbucket have it's own style/rule, for how to shade (of course people are free to do some extra shading, so long it's inside Shipbucket shading rule)

Thank you for the clarification, though I was specifically talking about is that I have already tried this myself and failed. My avilities are limited. I can't shade the contours of the hull since it's far too complex for one such as myself. So I'm leaving this to better artists to fill in the blanks
