I like it... although I might darken the muzzle of the 76mm.

The big fat blades of the screw will always look wrong and silly to me, but that's the price you pay for accuracy :)

That's a very nice update.
I agree about the 76mm muzzle, looks a little odd like that.

The muzzle of a 76mm is actually black and the same size as the barrel so...

(Raising hand)

(Nervous)

Senpais, may I try my hand at a ROCN Cheng Kung class frigate based on the long-hull Perry drawing and post it here for convenience?

Thank you for consideration.

New Version HERE

There are quite a few detailed differences between the O.H. Perry class and the Cheng Kung class frigates, but the most notable being the addition of two Bofors 350PX 40mm L70 guns as well as two quad AShM launchers (each initially carries four HF-2 missiles but later two HF-2s and 2 HF-3s), the deletion of the AN/SQR-19 towed array sonar and AN/SRQ-4 datalink set, and the lack of visible stiffening beams as the hull was reinforced upon construction.

Yueh Fei and Chi Kuang (PFG-1105) later had their Mk75 guns upgraded by Oto Melara. I'm not sure if other ships of the class have the upgrade as well, but, AFAIK, only the afore-mentioned two have low-observable cupolas.

Primary references used HERE and HERE (third picture; JTIDS antenna).

Did they not upgrade her launcher to fire SM-2 by 2018?

I think, looking at the pics, that they also did some modifications on the funnels with some larger exhaust pipes.

As far as I'm aware, no Mk 13 has ever been fitted with SM-2. As I understand it, part of the reason USN FFGs had their Mk 13 removed is because all SM-1 stocks were transferred to foreign navies equipped with the Mk 13.

I'm happy to be corrected on the matter.
