Bin Ladin killed by US forces

#1 Post by erik_t »

Breaking all over the place; I'll post a real news link as soon as one appears.

EDIT: Beeb says it, so it's true.

I won't delve deep into politics in this forum, but I will say: couldn't happen to a nicer fellow.

I have been crying tears of joy. "Where were you on 9/11?" will now be said in the same breath as "Where were you when Bin Laden died?"... To those on here who may be a member of a nation who has supported the US in the war on terror this is your victory too!

Congratulations to all those involved; and yes, we all share in this, particularly those who have suffered as a result of Bin Ladens activities, not least the families of those lost on 9/11, 7/7 and other atrocities.
