American Dreadnoughts - Redux

#1 Post by Karle94 »

So I have decided to remaster my US dreadnought collection. I've decided to do them back to front. That means first out is the Colorado class.
Now painted in the proper colors and updated parts.

I'm happy to see these updated. As part of the update, I think you should shift to the 3x3 porthole (and, though this is Shipbucket heresy, try a less garish shade of window blue).

I've added the Colorado in 1942, both early and late versions. That concludes the Colorado class for now.

Some of you might remember that sometime ago I made some never-weres of the New Mexico class. One of those designs were a Pennsylvania-like battleship with twin 16 inch guns. I also did a what-if refit of that design in 1931. Some told me dont bother, well, this is the reason why. I've added the USS Pennsylvania in 1916, 18 and 31. All based on those drawings. Turns out, the New Mexico design #4 with twin 16 inch guns is exactly the same size as the Pennsylvania, and the guns are also the same size. Turrets, barbettes, everything.
