After some years with WWII era sniping rifles, in the mid 1950s SB Arsenal instead looking forward, picked a design of the past as basis of the new rifle for snipers. A SB Mle. 25 rifle was cuted to half stock, was chambered to the new 7.62 x 51 NATO ammo, and gets a heavier barrel and a cheek rest, It was a standart weapon in the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Police well until the 2000s. Cheers.

Credits: Colosseum was the original artist of the KAR 98 (SB. Mle. 25) and of the scope. I tried to mimic Darth Panda's bipod for the L86 lmg. Thanks to both of you. Special thanks to Thiel: the "theory" is almost as important as the drawing!
I actually did not draw that optic - I think Nighthunter drew it for his Springfield 03A3 sniper versions. So the credit line should say "Colosseum, Nighthunter, & Reytuerto". ;)

reytuerto wrote: March 28th, 2017, 5:06 pm Nice weapon Judah, it looks very ergonomic! (and forgive me for a copy without permision: we shared the same name for the Arsenal of our AUs). One question about your bayonet: Is the handle metallic or plastic? Cheers!
The M9 bayonet's handle is made out of glass-reinforced polymer. The K2065 rifles and carbines are inspired by the FN SCAR-L and are based on a carbine seen in the anime Macross Delta (my AU is set in the Macross universe).

As for the companies having the same name, it is a coincidence so no problem with that ;)

Good afternoon:

Aggiornamiento of the well tried Bren / ZB/26. Chambered to the then new .280 British, with the butt and pistol grip modified to press the butt towards the shoulder with the left hand "a la russe", and a new flash hider, it was an effective weapon and the basic squad automatic until the next century.
Credits: Thanks to Darth Panda, his excellent Bren was the starting point for my LMG. Thanks also to Thiel and Ian, your advices were very valuable for the "designers" of SB Arsenal. Cheers.

Hi rifleman:

SB Mle. 56. A derivative of the relatively new AK-47, with a L1 style flash hider and other minor details. Cheers.

Here's the carbine rifle from Bioshock Infinite, based on the Winchester M1 Carbine.
