Nice to see the Aussie M1113. There was also an interesting fire support version with the Saladdin turret.

There were 2 M113 FSV/MRV variants PB. The 1st variant (FSV) was fitted with the 76mm Saladdin turret that was used during the Vietnam war while a 2nd batch (MRV) was fitted with the more modern 76mm Scorpion Turret which was later retrofitted to most of the earlier FSV units to bring them up to MRV standard. The Canadian Forces also like the idea and adopted this to a small number of their M113s n later on the Cougar 6x6 LAV-FSV as well as the Philippines Army.Portsmouth Bill wrote:Nice to see the Aussie M1113.
